Reasons to Apply for a Technical Assistance Grant Now!

1) No exclusions!

If you are an arts organization in Virginia, you are eligible for this grant – even if you have already received funding through another VCA grant program this fiscal year.

2. Get the help you need!

With this funding, you can help your organization through two eligible activities conducted before June 15, 2023: securing short-term consultation on a particular artistic/organizational problem, and sending administrators; board members; or other authorized representatives to conferences/seminars.

3) Catch them while you can!

Beginning FY24, Technical Assistance grants will no longer be available through the VCA so be sure to apply for FY23.

Call for Panelist Nominations

The VCA annually invites a select number of Virginians to serve as reviewers of our grant applications. Through an Advisory Panel, leaders in the arts from across the state contribute their expertise and experience in assessing the quality of grant applications. The Advisory Panel is an important element of stewarding state and federal funding through an accountable system for the Commonwealth of Virginia.

As we enter into our next grant cycle for our Partnership and Impact grants, the VCA seeks nominations (including self-nominations) for anyone interested in conducting reviews, gaining insight into the grant evaluation process, and donating their time and expertise for the benefit of Virginians.

Members of our Advisory Panels include thought leaders in the arts industry who are passionate about the positive impact of arts on the Commonwealth of Virginia. Panelists span expertise across disciplines and include educators; museum curators and staff; theater directors; community leaders; Trustees; arts administrators; and individual artists.

Note: Advisory Panelists may also be grant applicants as the VCA excludes Panelists from reviewing and scoring an application submitted or with which they may otherwise have a conflict of interest.

Nominations may be sent via mail or email to:
