Acknowledgment Requirements for FY26 VA250 Impact Grantees
All FY26 VA250 Impact Grant recipients are required to display the following three logos in all promotional and public-facing materials related to the funded program:
- Virginia Commission for the Arts (VCA)
- Virginia American Revolution 250 Commission (VA250)
- National Endowment for the Arts/America250 (combined logo)
These three logos must appear on all print and digital materials, including (but not limited to) programs, newsletters, educational materials, brochures, posters, news releases, websites, catalogues, videos, curtain speeches, and other appropriate event or promotional content.
Print and Online Acknowledgment Language
Please include the following statement on all printed or online materials: “This project was supported, in part, by the Virginia Commission for the Arts, the Virginia American Revolution 250 Commission (VA250), and the National Endowment for the Arts/America250.”
Radio or Television Acknowledgment Language
For radio or television broadcasts, please use: “This project is supported in part by an award from the Virginia Commission for the Arts, the Virginia American Revolution 250 Commission (VA250), and the National Endowment for the Arts/America250.” For television broadcasts, a visual display of the current VCA, VA250, and NEA/America250 logos is also required.
Important Notes on Appropriate Crediting
- Acknowledgment language must clearly reference only the specific project or activity supported by the grant to prevent inappropriate crediting.
- Organizations must remove all VCA, VA250, and NEA/America250 acknowledgments from their websites, printed materials, and related content at the conclusion of the grant period.
