The VCA is excited to announce an open call for experienced Virginia performing/touring artists and ensembles to apply for inclusion in its FY25 Touring Artist Roster. This is an incredible opportunity to showcase your talent and engage with diverse communities across Virginia.

Eligible Applicants
VCA welcomes applications from Virginia performing artists and ensembles of all disciplines and genres, including musicians, dancers, theater performers, spoken word artists, storytellers, and more. Please note that individual students or organizations primarily comprised of Pre-K-12 or undergraduate college students are not eligible for inclusion in the Touring Artist Roster.

Deadline to Apply
July 15, 2023, by 5:00 p.m. EST. for the touring season of July 1, 2024 – June 15, 2025.

Evaluation
Applicants will be evaluated by a statewide Advisory Panel in early September. If awarded inclusion, the VCA can fund up to 50% of the artist/ensemble’s performance fees through the Virginia Touring Grant program. Decisions will be announced in October 2023.
