Alfred Yun | Jazz, Korean American Fusion | NEW

About the Artist/Ensemble

Alfred Yun is a Korean-American jazz pianist and composer. Alfred brings his unique perspective to his compositions from his Korean heritage, American experience, and philosophical studies. He boldly addresses various aspects of this experience in a playful and contemplative manner. He works primarily in jazz, but pulls in various elements from rock, K-pop, traditional Korean, and classical music.

Alfred was honored to be chosen by the Music Center At Strathmore as an Artist-in-Residence for the 2023- 2024 season. This includes featured concerts at Strathmore’s prestigious AMP club in January and participating in programs throughout the season.
