Educational Background/Training
My journey as a teaching artist has been shaped by a self-driven approach to learning, rooted in curiosity, dedication, and a passion for sharing art with others. I learned foundational skills by immersing myself in various forms of art and creative expression, from illustration and storytelling to sequential art. Early exposure to comics and self-study helped me develop a unique, relatable style that resonates with young artists.
Through independent research, online courses, and continual practice, I’ve gained expertise in a range of techniques, including character creation, comic storytelling, and mixed media, which I now share with my students in workshops and classes.
