About the Artist/Ensemble

Terra Voce concerts feature the ensemble’s arrangements of Brazilian choro, contemporary tangos, Irish, Scandinavian, and Eastern European traditional sets, works by Baroque masters and standard compositions written specifically for flute and cello. Terra Voce also offers programs with the internationally acclaimed pianist Maria Yefimova, combining works from their duo repertoire with trios from the classical repertoire.

Concert/Performance Description

CONCERTS: An armless chair of standard adult height, appropriate concert stage lighting. For trio concerts, an acoustic grand piano tuned the day of the performance. Depending on venue, a microphone for spoken voice.

Educational Programs

Terra Voce offers an interactive elementary school program, Musical Opposites, that explores musical terms such as treble, bass, tempo, dynamics, etc. within the broader topic of opposites. Concepts are illustrated through the performance of diverse musical styles from around the world.

Terra Voce also offers concerts, master classes and/or workshops for middle, high school, and college music students. Add-on community engagement concerts for libraries, schools, healthcare facilities, etc. are available for all ages and can be tailored to the specific needs of the presenter.

Fees

  • Duo Concert: $700 to $1,100
  • Trio concert with pianist Maria Yefimova:  $1,300 to $2,000
  • Workshops, master classes, coaching:  $300 to $600
  • School and add-on community engagement performances: $300 to $600

Rates are negotiable. Discounts are offered for block bookings or for school concerts, workshops, and master classes scheduled in conjunction with other services. Travel is included in concert fees. Accommodations are negotiable.
