Access the Arts of Virginia!
How it Works
Any Virginian receiving benefits as part of the WIC program is automatically a Passport Program holder. With just your WIC card, you can access discounted admission, tickets, and programs at dozens of our partner organizations across Virginia—including museums, performing arts, visual arts, and more.
No additional documents are needed. To redeem a discount, simply show your WIC card.
Below, you can view a list of participating organizations with discounts. We update this list regularly, but if you have any questions, please contact our team!
Frequently Asked Questions
Who can participate?
- Only WIC recipients are eligible to be Passport holders.
Do I need a special Passport Program card to use the program discounts?
- No. The WIC card issued by VDH works as your ‘Passport’ to redeem available discounts – simply show the card at participating arts organizations. No other card is needed to confirm eligibility. However, WIC cards cannot be used for payment.
Is there a limit to the number of organizations I can visit using the Passport Program?
- No, there is no limit on how many places you may visit. However, our partners may place limits on the number of people who can use the discount at one time (for example, the discount may extend to the card holder, plus two family members).
I’m ready to use the Passport Program to visit an arts organization! Where do I start?
- This page contains a list of participating organizations near you (updated on DATE). Here, you can find information about the discounts offered before you visit!
