WIC Coordinator Passport Program Toolkit

WIC Coordinator Passport Program Toolkit

Thank you for your hard work in delivering essential services to the WIC population! We hope to provide your constituents with access to the arts, so they can enjoy the opportunity for a creative life that every Virginian deserves. We need your help to let WIC cardholders know that they can have free or discounted arts tickets, and we want to enable you!

The following resources are intended to help you share the Passport Program with your community in a flexible way. You are encouraged to use the social media, flyer, and website templates below. We have also provided our logos and other helpful graphics for your use.

Translation Services

For non-English speaking visitors, the VCA offers translated versions of our website through our partner Smartling. If you or any of your clients would like to view the Passport opportunities list in another language, simply use the toolbar at the top-right of the page.

Smartling Translation Bar

Simply clicking on the desired language will translate the entire VCA website!

Example Website Language

If your locality or office operates a website for the WIC program, we encourage you to include a brief mention of the Passport Program for your constituents to see. This template language is available to quickly share more about this program.

[County or City] residents in the WIC program can also access the Passport Program, which offers free or discounted tickets, classes, and other experiences to WIC recipients across Virginia. To redeem your discounts, just present your card at any of our partner locations. A full list of opportunities can be found here.

If you have any questions, please visit the VCA’s website or email arts@vca.virginia.gov. The Passport Program is a collaboration between the Virginia Commission for the Arts (VCA), the Virginia Department of Health (VDH), and dozens of community partners across the Commonwealth.

Social Media Templates

We’ve designed flyers and social media graphics that you can customize to your own needs! To edit and download, just click on a design, and you’ll be navigated to a fully customizable design in Canva, a free online graphic editing platform.

How To Use These Templates

When you click on any of the images below, you’ll be redirected to Canva, which is free when you sign in with your email, Facebook, or work account. Canva works on any device, but a desktop computer may be ideal.

The templates have generic text that you can fill in with your organization’s name, discount offerings, and ticketing information. To edit the text, just double-click on the text box and change whatever you’d like as if you were using a word processor like Microsoft Word.

Many templates have a generic frame element (seen to the left). This is where an additional logo can go – just upload your logo to Canva using the Uploads tab and drag it over the frame element. If you would not like to add any logos, feel free to delete it!

We have also recorded a YouTube video demonstrating how to use the templates. It can be found at this link.

All of the flyers below are available in navy, white, or grayscale – you can click your desired template and download it directly in Canva.
