Educational Program Description
In the ceramic tile and mosaic mural programs students can learn to make tiles, cut and break tile, use various adhesives, and grout. The resulting projects can include individual work as well as large tiled panels, which can be mounted on an interior or exterior wall. Depending on the size of the work, as well as the number of students, one or two mural panels can be created in two full days. Students are taught valuable skills and asked to consider historical context and impacts of art in our environment.
